Large Copper Byzantine coin set in solid bronze pendant.
Coin Measures 33 mm. wide. Pendant measures 43 mm across and is 63 mm. high including the bale.
The coin has a large M on the obverse of coin which stood for 40 Follis and below that is "CON" which shows it was struck at the Constantinople mint.
The bronze in Bronze Pendant set with Ancient Byzantine copper coin 081 was lost wax casted by my father and I. The bronze in each piece is a labor of love.
